Terms of Service
These terms explain how Stalzo works and what we, event organisers and vendors each agree to. Please read them before you book or list a stall.
1. Who we are
Stalzo ([to be confirmed], registered address [to be confirmed]) runs the website and app at https://stalzo.in ("Stalzo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Stalzo you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. What Stalzo does
Stalzo is an online marketplace that connects event organisers, who list events and stall spaces, with vendors, who book those stalls. Stalzo does not organise events, own or run venues, or sell vendors' products. Each event is the responsibility of its organiser, and each stall's goods and services are the responsibility of the vendor.
3. Your account
- You sign in with an Indian mobile number and a one-time code sent by SMS. Keep your phone and codes private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract under Indian law.
- The details you give us (name, business name, licence numbers and so on) must be true and kept up to date.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, misuse Stalzo or put other users at risk.
4. For vendors
- You must hold every licence and registration your business needs, including an FSSAI licence if you sell food, and follow the event's rules and the law.
- You may sell only lawful goods and services. Prohibited items include anything illegal, counterfeit, hazardous or restricted by the organiser.
- You are responsible for your stall, products, staff, prices, taxes and customer service at the event.
5. For organisers
- We verify every organiser before their events can be published. We may ask for proof of identity, past events and permissions.
- You must have the right to hold the event at the venue, with all permissions and licences it needs, and your listing (dates, venue, layout, inclusions, rules and footfall) must be accurate.
- You must provide booked stalls and inclusions as listed. If you cancel or materially change an event, vendors receive a full refund as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- You are responsible for running the event safely, including security, crowd management and the venue's requirements.
6. Booking a stall
- When you choose a stall and tap Hold & continue, we hold it for you for 10 minutes. If you don't pay within that time, the stall is released.
- A booking is confirmed only when payment succeeds and you receive a booking reference and ticket.
- The price shown at checkout is the organiser's stall fee plus Stalzo's platform fee (currently 5% of the stall fee) and GST on the platform fee. You see the full breakdown before paying.
- Payments are processed by our payment partner. We hold the stall fee and pay it to the organiser after the event, so that vendors can be refunded if an event is cancelled.
7. Cancellations and refunds
Each event shows its cancellation policy (Flexible, Moderate or Strict) before you book. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
8. Acceptable use
Don't misuse Stalzo: for example by giving false information, holding stalls you don't intend to book, trying to get around our fees by arranging bookings found on Stalzo outside it, interfering with the service, scraping it, or harassing other users.
9. Our liability
We work hard to keep Stalzo accurate and available, but we can't guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not responsible for the conduct of organisers, vendors or visitors, or for losses arising from an event itself. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any booking is limited to the platform fee you paid us for that booking. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be limited.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll show the date of the latest version on this page and tell you about significant changes before they apply.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem. If we can't, the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction.
12. Contact and grievances
Questions: stalzo.in@gmail.com. Complaints are handled by our Grievance Officer, [to be confirmed], at stalzo.in@gmail.com. See Contact us for response times.
