Refund & Cancellation Policy
If an organiser cancels, you always get your money back in full. If you cancel, the event's own policy (shown before you book) decides the refund.
If the organiser cancels or materially changes the event
You get a 100% refund of everything you paid, including Stalzo's platform fee and GST. We start the refund automatically. A material change means, for example, a new date or venue, or the event being significantly smaller than listed. If an event is moved, you can choose a full refund or keep your stall at the new date.
If you cancel your booking
Each event uses one of three policies, shown on the event page and at checkout:
| Policy | Refund of the stall fee |
|---|---|
| Flexible | Full refund if you cancel at least 7 days before the event starts |
| Moderate | 50% refund if you cancel at least 7 days before the event starts |
| Strict | No refund |
Within 7 days of the event, the stall fee is not refundable under any policy, because the organiser can rarely re-sell the stall in time. When you cancel, Stalzo's platform fee and the GST on it are not refunded, because the booking service has been provided.
To cancel, email stalzo.in@gmail.com with your booking reference (for example STZ-ABC123). We confirm the cancellation and the refund amount within 2 working days.
Other situations
- Payment taken but no booking: if money left your account but you didn't get a booking reference, it's refunded automatically, usually within 5–7 working days. Contact us if it isn't.
- Charged twice or a Stalzo error: we refund the extra amount in full.
- Events affected by things beyond anyone's control (such as government orders or severe weather): we work with the organiser to reschedule or refund, and always refund in full if the event doesn't happen.
- Problems at the event (for example, the stall or inclusions weren't as listed): tell us within 3 days of the event. Because we hold the stall fee until after the event, we can investigate and refund some or all of it where appropriate.
How and when refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method (UPI, card or bank account). Once we start a refund, it usually reaches you within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank.
